Another new function: Single, return and repeat journeys!
Last night we implemented another great new feature. After adding some AJAX functionality that will automatically calculate the distance between departure and destination of the ride you are about to add (and hence propose an appropriate charge for your ride), we came up with this great idea.
Simply select if you want to add a single, return or repeat journey
Many people requested a function that would make it easier for them to add several rides, such as return journeys or repeat journeys (e.g. for commuting) in one go. So adding a function that would allow exactly this was on top of our to-do list. Knowing that this was a bigger task than it seems at first sight, we started working on this a couple of days ago and finally came up with a solution that works not only perfectly easy but that is also secure and fool-proof.
So how does this work?
Simply select the type of journey you’d like to add:
Select the date of your journey
Select the date and time of your outward and return journey
Ideal for commuters: first select the time and then simply click on the dates to add rides
